People in Kuwait or maybe even in the Arab world have a major problem with time, which is one of the main reasons for being behind in development. Whenever you schedule an appointment with someone you just have to have the time of the meeting an hour early since you know that they are going to be an hour late. It is really hard to get used to people not respecting time. I once got to wait for 2 and a half hours for people to show up, but I guess I am finally getting used to it. Even airplanes in the airport are being late in arrivals and departures which costs them millions of KDs but they just don’t give a damn.
There is a saying in Arabic that says (الوقت كالسيف إن لم تقطعه قطعك), I think that that is wrong, no one wants to make a violent relationship with time otherwise how will you use your time wisely, you have to make a good relationship with time in order to use it the right way. Time is the devil for most people in the Arab world and that is why we are always last.
The life Allah has given us is all about time, so use it right.
